ZOMBIE WALK
SA’S BIGGEST HALLOWEEN EVENT
Each year, we host the Cape Town Zombie Walk and take over the city streets for an incredible cause. As a fun, all-ages experience, it stands as the only pet-friendly Halloween event in Cape Town where families, horror fans, and pets can join together. We focus on raising vital funds for local animal welfare organizations – including our ongoing support for the Lucky Lucy Foundation – to help rescue abused and neglected animals. Keeping our community happy and safe remains our top priority, backed by an unbroken 100% safety record since our very first walk in 2009.
Built by locals for locals, this one-day community festival grows every year through the passion of everyone who dresses up, brings friends, and shares the event. Our dream is simple: to bring together the largest zombie gathering in the world right here in South Africa. From our central city march to the official festival after-party, thousands of trick-or-treaters and costume lovers gather for an unforgettable day. Whether you come in full FX makeup or just bring your dog along for the walk, you’re helping make Cape Town’s favorite Halloween spectacle bigger, wilder, and more impactful than ever.
