ABOUT ZOMBIE WALK

SA'S BIGGEST HALLOWEEN EVENT

Each year we host the Cape Town Zombie Walk/Fest and take over the streets of Cape Town. Cape Town Zombie Fest is an all-ages event making it fun for the entire family and is the only pet-friendly event of its kind. We help raise funds for local charities like the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected animals and will continue to do so. Keeping our supporters happy and safe is of paramount importance to us.

ZOMBIE WALK TIMELINE SCHEDULE

Safety First. Pay attention to the marshals & traffic department at ALL times!

Gather At Start Point

Company Gardens - Cannon is where the walk will start from - 49 Government Ave, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000.

4:15pm - 4:45pm

Important Announcements

Important announcement are made. Medics & Marshals are present. Lucky Lucy taking in donations.

4:45pm - 5:00pm

Zombie Walk Starts

Everyone lines up and prepares to walk. Zombie Walk starts with groups leaving in intervals to maintain crowd control.

5:00pm

Cross Wale street into St George's Mall

At the end of company gardens we cross wale street over into St George's mall. Pay attention to the Marshalls at all times !!!

5pm - 5:05pm

Walk St Georges Mall

We walk through St George's mall, being mindful to the business operating in this area. Pay attention to the Marshalls at all times !!!

5:05pm - 5:10pm

Cross Strand street

At the end of St George's mall we have the big crossing over Strand street into the square. Please pay attention to the Marshalls at all times.

5:10pm - 5:15pm

THIBAULT SQUARE

At this point we are now filling up the square. This is where the walk ends for all walkers. Only those proceeding to the afterparty with tickets continue on from this point.

5:15pm - 5:20pm

Cross into Lower Long street.

We cross at the Myciti crossing from the square into lower long street. Pay attention to the Marshalls at all times !!!

5:20pm - 5:25pm

Cross into Lower Loop Street

From lower long walking along the open parking lot we cross over into lower loop heading towards the fan walk bridge.

5:25pm - 5:30pm

Cross Fan Walk Bridge to M62

We cross over the Fan Walk Bridge, stopping at the big intersection at the M62. This is a major crossing so Extreme caution will be enforced here. Pay attention to the Marshalls at all times !!!

5:30pm - 5:35pm

Cross into Dock Road

The next crossing is into Dock road walking towards the waterfront / Hotel. Pay attention to the Marshalls at all times !!!

5:35pm - 5:40 pm

Cross into S Arm road

Cross at the Water way House crossing into S Arm road to the Radisson Hotel. Pay attention to the Marshalls at all times !!!

5:40 pm - 5:45pm

Walk To After Party Venue

Once crossed over, we walk on the side path onto the end gathering point which will be the SILO Courtyard next to the Radisson Red Hotel. From here walkers will disperse with ticket holders being allowed into the Halloween Haunted Hotel.

5:45pm - 6:00pm
